Night of Joy was a band based in Denver from 2008 to 2013. It always contained Val Franz and Bree Davies; at some points it included a drum machine but ultimately, Fez Garcia was the drummer. The musicians' paths/tastes overlapped somewhere around Shellac, Nirvana, T. Rex, Joy Division and Mudhoney. The result was bleak but enjoyable for some portion of the weirdo population.
